Christmas Folly

Christmas Folly

Aaah it’s that time of year again and everyone is starting to get a little bit frantic. Three weeks to go and the Big Fat Man in a Red Suit will arrive apparently laden with presents for those of us who have been nice…….. bah Humbug!

No not really I can’t wait this year for Christmas and as this is my first post I’m extra fantabulously excited!

For those of you who make your way to this page, yes,  its some what rudimentry but in time I am hoping to get this blogging thing happening. In the meantime a little about what I will be using this blog for and hopefully communicate to anyone willing to read it.

As an artist living in a little NSW town of 3000 people I have found the need to make my own creative fun so to speak. A part of that has been to start producing  my own pique assiette pendants and rings. These I make from broken porcelain plates which have either been dug up (yes in the bush!), given to me or found in one of those great Salvo stores!

Below are some examples of my work and over time I hope to show some of my techniques and pieces made step by step.

Good luck to all in the shopping frenzy, and don’t get maced in the face going for that really cheap Xbox!
